BYBA is an organization that strives to provide children of all ages and skill level an opportunity to play basketball with their friends. The number one priority is safety and growth of our players.

SWISH kids is BYBA's development program for children in kindergarten to second grade. This program splits the session between learning the basic fundamentals of basketball during coach led drills as well as coach led scrimmages. The scrimmages allows the players to relate the drills learned to game situations. Really this is to work on things like; hands up, get back on defense, what a rebound is, what to do and set up on the court, etc... These are small steps in building a players basketball IQ. In the past the kindergarten session has ended the year with players from the Women's Varsity Team helping with fun games. The first and second grade program ends with a tournament style bracket allowing the kids to get a feel for some in game competition. 

BYBA Travel program allows players to compete against surrounding towns. The program follows Metro West Basketball rules and schedules (www.metrowestbball.com). The teams are broken down by divisions based upon comparable skill level. This program is geared to provide players with competition outside of their normal surroundings. At the end of the travel season each team will be seeded in a bracket for single elimination playoff action. 

BYBA In Town Program offers players from 3rd grade to 12th grade to compete against friends. The program is broken up in age groups (normally 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, and 9th-12th (seniors program)  depending upon if the number of players within in each group support the groups. The teams are drafted in an attempt to create parody within the league. The In Town program offers players of all skill levels and talent the opportunity to play basketball. Each age division ends with a single game elimination playoff bracket ending in a championship game.
